proverbs 22:6 “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.”

Over 14 years ago while busy teaching the main stream schools, the Lord pressed in the heart of the amazing founders to create a platform where children would be shaped to become excellent academically while developing christ character. A place where educational and purpose are married, where children and young people are well prepared to successfully navigate life in modern Britain with a firm grip of biblical values and eternity.

Starting from home schooling of the founders children, the school soon moved to  occupying one room in the church premises. through fervent prayer and vision casting, one family was added to the school, taking the total number of children to 5; just enough to proceed with the registration process of the school.

In June 2013, SOL Christian Academy was registered. The DNA of the school being CHARACTER, ACADEMICS and LEADERSHIP.  The Accelerated Christian Education(ACE) was chosen as our core curriculum. 

The school is currently based at 115 Fairfield Street, using the ground, first and second floors with the main hall providing space for lunch time activities and other sport activities.

The site has been adapted since then to include a computer lab, equipment to facilitate science and technology experiments and continue to expand.

Over the years, we have developed string partnerships with stake-holders including schools and universities, companies, churches and communities. This has helped enrich out rich and dynamic curriculum providing better learning experience, work experience, industry and further education exposure.
